Julie has been a resident of LA since 2000 putting to use her MBA in Entertainment Business. In 2002 Julie got her real estate license in 2002 and began her real estate career in 2003 through selling timeshares. (Which she says is a great way to combine travel and real estate.) In 2004 she entered the finance world, becoming a loan and mortgage consultant, working at respected firms such as HMS Capital, World Savings, and Wachovia Bank. In those years she also presented classes in finance, calculators, underwriting and loan programs to real estate agents and consumers; and presented seminars on real estate loans and finance at The Learning Annex and at local libraries and community centers After the meltdown in 2007, Julie became a full-time active real estate investor, with scores of transactions in buying and rehabbing properties to flip, for buy-and-hold rentals, and in turning short sale properties, in CA and out of state. In 2010 Julie got licensed and registered with the SEC as an Investment Advisor Representative but realized she preferred real estate investing and following her love of finance and numbers, even while she still invests and connects buyers and sellers.
Julie has found her niche in the world of private and hard money lending, helping others reach their financial goals through real estate investing. Whether flipping, leveraging money, analyzing and buying commercial properties, or by guiding money investors through the world of private lending and trust deeds, she has financed over $20M in hard money transactions.
In her spare time she likes to travel, play tennis, and play her fiddle.
